I am currently operating as a freelance video editor and videographer in the greater Los Angeles area. Click here to see a more detailed breakdown of my services, and click here to check out my portfolio.
In college, I was asked by one of my favorite professors, "What makes you feel most alive?" For me, it's one word: story. I have always marveled at the way movies and television can create such powerful emotional connections with an audience. Today, I use my video production skills to harness the power of visual storytelling in a way that communicates truth, encourages reflection, and inspires action in the audiences that my clients are aiming to reach.
I was born and raised in Berlin, OH, which is home to one of the largest Amish populations in the United States. I received a B.A. in Video and Radio Broadcasting from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in Mount Vernon, OH, and also earned a certificate with a Film Studies minor from the Los Angeles Film Studies Center in Los Angeles, CA. In the summer of 2016, I married my lovely wife Rachel and moved to LA, where we now pursue careers in visual media together.
As a highly motivated self starter, my goal is to continue to grow my business while developing my creative and technical skills to partner with people, brands, and organizations that I believe in. Ultimately, I long to create visual stories that are creative and meaningful. If you'd like to collaborate with me on your next project, click here to send me a message. I would love to connect with you!
